Charlie grew up in the suburbs of Atlanta and graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology  in 2018. He is the recipient of the Regents in Mechanical Engineering Fellowship (UCSB) and the National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship. His research lays at the intersection of robotics and energy.
