Anna grew up in Chicago, Illinois and graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign with a B.S.E  in mechanical engineering in 2021. She is a Hertz Fellowship Finalist and a NSF Graduate Research Fellowship recipient. Her her research focuses on bio-inspired design on both the macro and micro scale.
